da betsul: Julian Nagelsmann's side were not at their best in Frankfurt, but got the result they needed to ensure they finished atop Group A
da stake casino: Germany secured top spot in Group A at Euro 2024, but they were made to work hard for it by Switzerland as Niclas Fullkrug's stoppage-time equaliser secured a 1-1 draw for the hosts in Frankfurt.
Julian Nagelsmann's side thought they had taken the lead in the 16th minute when Robert Andrich's long-range effort skipped past Yann Sommer, but a VAR check led to it being disallowed for a Jamal Musiala foul in the build-up.
Switzerland took full advantage, too, as they went up the other end and opened the scoring as Dan Ndoye got across his marker to volley in a cross from close-range. The Bologna forward almost made it 2-0 soon after, too, as Germany struggled to deal with pace and movement of the Swiss frontline.
The hosts began to create more chances after half-time, but Sommer denied Musiala before Ilkay Gundogan put the rebound wide, while Kai Havertz put two headers off target. At the other end, Ruben Vargas had a goal disallowed for offside before Manuel Neuer denied Granit Xhaka from distance.
In the end, Fullkrug had the final say, as he got on the end of fellow substitute David Raum's searching cross and headed home his second goal of the tournament, which in turn condemned Switzerland to second place in the group.
GOAL rates Germany's players from Deutsche Bank Stadium…

Manuel Neuer (6/10):
Could do nothing about Ndoye's goal and wasn't forced into a save until Xhaka tested him late on. Came off his line quickly on a couple of occasions.
Joshua Kimmich (5/10):
Struggled to make much of an impact going forward, and perhaps could have done better after he looked to have won the ball back in the build-up to Switzerland's goal.
Antonio Rudiger (6/10):
A solid presence who showcased his recovery pace on occasion. Managed to avoid the booking that would have led to a suspension.
Jonathan Tah (3/10):
Allowed Ndoye to get ahead of him for the Swiss opener and then picked up a booking for a foolish foul on Embolo that rules him out of Germany's last-16 clash. Toiled for an hour before being replaced.
Max Mittelstadt (6/10):
Solid but not particularly flashy. Is coping well with his debut tournament given his inexperience at international level.

Robert Andrich (5/10):
Unfortunate to have his early goal ruled out, even if it was the correct decision. Struggled to make much more of an impact before being replaced with 25 minutes to go.
Toni Kroos (6/10):
Unable to dictate the tempo to the same level as in previous games as Switzerland chose their moments to press him. Still pretty metronomic.
Ilkay Gundogan (4/10):
Unable to find the pockets of space that he thrived in earlier in the tournament. Missed a big chance to equalise after Musiala's effort was saved.

Jamal Musiala (7/10):
Again lit up the game with some of his dribbling, but few of his team-mates were able to reach his level.
Kai Havertz (5/10):
Did some good stuff out of possession but was too often bullied off it by Swiss defenders. Missed two good headed chances in the second half.
Florian Wirtz (5/10):
One fine through-ball for Musiala apart, the Leverkusen schemer struggled to make much of an impact before being replaced for the final 15 minutes.

Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10):
Replaced Tah and looked far more solid than the Leverkusen man.
David Raum (7/10):
Made good attacking contributions before his fine cross created the equaliser.
Maximilian Beier (5/10):
Couldn't make much of an impact after replacing Andrich.
Leroy Sane (5/10):
Again wasteful after being summoned from the bench.
Niclas Fullkrug (8/10):
Gave Germany a presence up front and was the man on the spot to net the equaliser.
Julian Nagelsmann (6/10):
Decision to risk players on a booking will cost him Tah's presence in the last 16, and his team looked laboured for the most part. Still, two of his substitutes combined to salvage a draw.
